Terra Selvatica is situated in the heart of Umbria. Perugia, Assisi and Gubbio are rated among the most famous tourist places and are all around 20 km away. Nature and culture.

Fratticiola Selvatica itself is a tiny little village above the Tiber valley. There is a bus line connecting Fratticiola Selvatica to Perugia, a coffee shop, a bar and a little supermarket. The village is a 20 minutes uphill walk away. Piccione is the next bigger village with a big supermarket, it can be reached in 30 minutes walk downhill.

If you, dear guest, are travelling with public transportation we come and pick you up at the train station of Perugia Ponte San Giovanni.

How to get here

By car

Coming from north

Milano, direction Bologna, first A1, then A14, pass Bologna, stay on A14, take exit „Cesena nord“, go on E45 direction Rome for about 140 km, take exit „Ponte Pattoli“. > At the stop turn right, direction Ramazzano, stay on street for approx. 1.2 km, then turn right at the crossroad in Casa del Diavolo. > Another 1.2 km then turn left direction Piccione/ Fratticiola Selvatica (sign).> Stay on street through the little valley for 4.4 km then turn right at the crossroad.> After approx.  400 m take a half-left direction Piccione (sign).> After 300 m you arrive at a roundabout and go straight ahead direction Fratticiola Selvatica (sign) for approx.  700 m and turn left direction Fratticiola Selvatica (sign).> Follow the winding road uphill for 3.7 km and turn left into a white road.> The white road begins right after you passed the last house of a little group on the left. Follow the white road for 1.5 km

Coming from south

Rome, direction Florence on A1, exit „Orte“, take E45 direction Perugia, drive approx. 100 km. Before arriving in Perugia the highway splits into „Perugia- Firenze“ or „Cesena“ – you go direction Cesena and stay on E45 for approx. 5,2 km, then direction Ancona.> Exit Ripa (it ist he second exit), at the stop sign take a left.> next stop sign take a left direction Gubbio (sign).> After approx.  800 m turn right direction Piccione (sign).> Stay on road for about 4.6 km through valley and hills then turn right direction Fratticiola Selvatica (sign).> Follow the winding road uphill for 3.7 km and turn left into a white road. The white road begins right after you passed the last house of a little group on the left. Follow the white road for 1.5 km

By train

Most of the train connections coming from the north run through first Milano, then Florence, to end in Perugia main station or Perugia Ponte San Giovanni. In Perugia Ponte San Giovanni we can pick you up, dear guest. Coming from the south Foligno is as well a train station to be considered (here we ask you to pay for the fare).

By plane

The airport of Perugia, San Francesco (San Egidio), is pretty small and can be reached from several European cities like Frankfurt, London or Bruxelles.

In Rome there are 2 airports with flight connections throughout the world. The distance to the Rome airports is 2 and a half hours by car or train (depending on the train schedule).
